A Note about Alkaline Water
Yesterday I spent $4 on a gallon of alkaline water. And, it was worth every penny. Before investing in the Kangen portable ionizer, I wanted to test the results of alkaline water. Although, I obviously wasn’t able to test the water right from the Kangen source, the brand I bought Alkaline Water, Inc. instantly refreshed me.
In order to really appreciate the value of alkaline water, I think that we really need to understand what’s going on in our own bodies. Regular water, even mineral water has never given me the boost that this stuff has – and I’ve only consumed a half gallon so far.
Stats from the back of the Bottle
Water treated with electrolysis increases it’s oxidation reduction potential. Ionization gives water a safe and abundant source of free electrons to donate to active oxygen and block the oxidation of normal tissue. The oxidation reduction potential of water is dramatically greater than that of antioxidants in food and vitamin supplements. The molecular weight of reduced water is low, making it fast acting able to reach all tissue in a short time. Purified mineral water from Alkaline Water Inc, will cleanse your system of free radicals and supply you with the minerals needed for a healthy body.
The gist of it is that oxidation to our tissue causes disease. Antioxidants fight disease in the body, and alkaline water is the best source of antioxidants. The gallon container I purchased is plastic – so I don’t believe the results are perfect. But, I do recommend testing alkaline water for yourself before spending big bucks on a home system or portable filter like the Kangen.

My wife and I use alkaline water that is all natural and I can’t justify spending big dollars as one can in buying a machine that arificiallly makes alkalinw water. We use an all natural product that occurs in only a few places in the world. We purchase it wholesale in sachets like a tea bag size which we add to our own filtered tap water. It makes the water 10+pH on the pH scale of 1-14. It also supplies all the Calcium, Magnesium and Potasium we need daily together with all the other 70+ traceminerals we need to kepp our cells more alkaline than acid. Feel free to visit our free website for info. We can also be contacted through that website. Oh - and did I tell you it costs us just $1.20 a litre and it comes originally with a polycarbonate bottle - so worries about leaching plastic into water. I suspect manufactored alkaline water does not contain all the minerals like our water. Cheers

Hey Eric,
where do you get this? I am very interested in trying it. I’m seriously considering buying the Kangen — just to save on all the bottles we buy. Also — what do you use to purify your tap? there are so many proiducts out there — what works for you?
thanks so much for reading and sharing!

I am very interested in knowing more about what Eric had to say in his comment about something that is in a small package… Eric speaks of something something like a tea bag that can make water alkaline.
Eric, please e-mail me your website address and/or your telephone number so that we can speak about my concern. I currently manufacture an in-home bowel therapy medical device and I’m wanting to evaluate what benefits may come from using alkaline water for therapy to the bowel over ordinary t

Most all natural alkaline water will not leach plastic from the bottle by itself (because it is balanced naturally with minerals). Leaching happens from acidic water. Also, microwaves or sunlight causes plastic to break down.
A Kangen machine can only work with the SOURCE of the water it uses. Basically it splits the minerals with electrolysis, keeps the minerals that will make the water alkaline. However, since most water sources are acidic to begin with, in two days the water returns back towards it’s original state.
The Kangen machine makes water to appear to be alkaline, the color drops and meters are tricked measure a higher reading. Most machines require Calcium drops, or other addetive minerals to sustain the alkalinity. A very un-natural process.
Those who are fighting cancer naturally should choose natural atesian spring water, where the water is filter by mother nature, and the minerals are balanced properly over time. And make sure to buy organic vegetables for a well balanced alkaline diet.

Frank,
thanks for bringing that up. I know people who swear by their Kangen systems. I haven’t invested because of the price and fact that I need to understand water and how it reacts with the body first. what kind of water do u drink? I’ve been doing mineral water in glass bottles.
