Have cold and clamy hands all the time? Have disgusting sweat marks on your shirts and sweaters all the time? Embarrassed to shake someone’s hand with your wet and slimy hands? Want to stop excessive sweating? It has many names: underarm sweating, sweaty hands, sweaty palms, etc.. If you’ve experienced these symptoms then you, my friend, have an excessive sweating problem. Now let’s look at a few solutions for sweaty palms and feet (Hyperhidrosis):
Change your diet
Reduce or eliminate meat products from your diet. Sounds radical, I know. But this is a real solution. Chemicals and hormones contained (contaminated) within the meat promote excessive sweating — among other things — throughout your body. I used to sweat like a pig prior to becoming a vegan in 2004. Since then, I hardly sweat at all. Some days, I don’t even bother to use deordorant because I simply don’t sweat like I used to. If you make the ultimate step to become a vegan, say goodbye to your sweat problems for GOOD – just like that!

Some people say soaking your hands and feet in a tea solution is a good cure, but I saw screw the soaking! Drink the tea and you’ll see many more benefits to stop sweating hands and feet. Excessive sweating, apart from having a genetic disposition, is also a sign that your body wants to release toxins from your body. Drinking at least 3 cups of loose leaf green tea per day will help cleanse your body and thus, reduce the need to sweat.
Calm your mind with meditation and yoga
Try and calm down. Many people sweat excessively because they are suffering from constant anxiety and worry. If you learn how to cool down your mind, through meditation and yoga, your body will naturally follow suit. Take a deep breath and let out all those pent-up emotions that are baking your body. Release that tension and you’ll find yourself cool and dry without sweaty armpits and hands.
Signing up for yoga is a great way to release tension and bring your body back to homeostasis. Yoga not only helps your body eliminate poisons (by good sweating), but it also helps you to stop sweating when your body really doesn’t need to be. It helps align your mind with your body — which will get your body working in harmony once again.
Stay clean and take a bath
Make sure to bathe regularly and use natural soap products (from Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods Market). If you refuse to bathe regularly, you’ll clog up your pores and produce an oily film over your entire body. Keeping your skin clean and clear allows it to breathe normally and goes a long way to combat sweating problems.
Say no to chemicals and yes to natural products
Stop using that nasty spray deodorant and start using natural deodorant like Toms or Trader Joe’s brands that are made solely from natural materials. You’ll soon find out that it’s Nature’s gentle touch that can help your armpits stay the driest. Those chemical laden sprays and creams burn away quickly, poison you with aluminum, mask the problem, and don’t help to combat the sweat at all.
Good luck and stay dry.
