A question for the experts.

There has been some stories floating around, that 'some people' cannot convert the oils to useful omega-3's in their bodies. Is this true?
(It would be a serious blow for vegetarians, as flax is one of the few vegetarian sources of this essential fat)

I have also read somewhere, that 'some people' cannot digest flax seeds properly and that it generates some kind of toxin in their bodies for that reason. Is that true?

'Some people' was supposed to be caucasians for the most part I think.

Be careful about flax seed, the chemicals used in its production are a known neurotoxin. The US is already taking some steps in the right direction, they have recently banned a chemical additive that had been in so-called "organic" food for years. Hopefully they will step up the enforcement of products do not conform to the 100% organic label they claim to carry.
