Skrewtips Manifesto

skrewtips sealSkrewtips promotes a natural path toward optimum health which includes eating well, movement/exercise, thinking positively, and a continued interest in self enlightenment. We believe that a person’s best health can be attained when all of these factors are properly aligned. Physical health (in the scientific sense) begins with digestion. When our bodies are provided with easily digestible food, and complete nutrition, void of animal by-products, fillers, and synthetic chemicals – we will gain the energy needed to function better in this world. We believe that most allergies, diseases and common ailments (viruses, parasites, bacteria) can be fully cured through a well-balanced lifestyle. Spiritual health begins in the mind and heart, becoming aligned and balanced through positive attitude, love, and kindness. To feel our best, we must find our own personal balance between these ideas. Our own health is a puzzle that only we can complete. Skrewtips vows to offer you well researched and experienced answers to help complete your own puzzle. Our exact truths may not be your own, but we are sure that the information found here will help you along your journey.

We are primarily focused on providing you the most up-to-date information regarding your diet. We will offer you the tools you need to make conscious eating choices. We are not interested in trends, or what seems to be popular this week on Google recipes. We advocate a raw vegan diet as the healthiest way to eat, for those who can tolerate it. But, your own personal diet may require a bit of tweaking around this concept. That’s why we also offer you the healthiest most honest information on how to best consume meat, dairy or cooked food, if you choose to do so.

Collectively, we are practicing vegans and raw vegans who have successfully improved our own and our families’ health exponentially. Managing editor, Gina Laverde, has suffered from candida, hyperthyroid, and a congested liver; her three-year-old son is currently being cured from autism using diet exercise and touch therapy. Gina advocates the Body Ecology Diet as a great starting ground for anyone who is truly open to curing autism. Gina continues to study all realms of natural healing and will soon be certified as a Body Ecology coach.

David Askaripour, site co-founder, has been a practicing vegetarian for 1 year and a vegan for roughly 3 years [ combined 4 years of amazing animal-free health ]. But to him, these labels are meaningless. He is more interested in living a healthy lifestyle, than pigeonholing himself into absolute category of eating. His philosophy is to do what makes you happy, no matter what you do, feel, or eat. Just as long as you’re mindful and really know what you’re doing — that’s the key.

Lovingly,
Skrewtips Family
