29 year old Angela Stokes chose to take her raw food lifestyle to the next level by completely going on a liquid (fruit and veggie) juice diet for 92 days. Unlike a juice fast, Angela did not deprive her body of calories or nutrients. She simply provided her body with easily digestible nourishment – minus the fiber.
The raw food revolution is gaining popularity, and I’m glad because we are learning to incorporate delicious raw meals into our diets that don’t leave us hungry for burgers and fries. We’re learning that raw doesn’t limit us to carrot sticks and spinach leaves, so more and more people are jumping on the raw wagon.
I remember the day I decided to completely remove sugar from my son’s diet. He’d just turned two, and had a fever. We gave him some liquid children’s acetaminophen to bring down his temp. Within seconds of drinking the sweet medicine, my boy stood up, ran into the wall with zooming speed, bumped his head, got up and began jumping on the bed.
